Cookies, SDKs & Similar Technologies Policy

Effective Date: April 22, 2026  |  Last Updated: April 22, 2026

Incorporated by reference into the Daylyy Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies Policy ("Policy") explains how daylyy LLC and its affiliates ("Daylyy," "we," "us," or "our") use cookies, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, tags, local storage, device identifiers, APIs, and similar technologies in connection with the Daylyy mobile application, website, and related products, features, and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you agree to the use of these technologies as described in this Policy.

2. What These Technologies Are

We and our service providers may use various technologies to collect information, remember settings, support account functionality, measure performance, secure the Services, and improve the user experience. These include:

  • Cookies: small text files stored by a browser or device that help websites or apps recognize a browser, maintain sessions, or remember information.

  • SDKs (Software Development Kits): code libraries included in mobile apps that provide functionality such as analytics, crash reporting, authentication, attribution, messaging, or performance monitoring. SDKs are the primary tracking mechanism in mobile apps and work differently from browser cookies.

  • Pixels, tags, and beacons: small pieces of code or embedded objects that help measure engagement, events, campaign performance, or communications activity.

  • Local storage and similar tools: technologies used to store settings, preferences, or session-related information on a browser or device outside of cookie files.

  • Device identifiers: identifiers associated with a browser, app instance, device, operating system, or mobile advertising environment (such as IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android).

Not every technology operates in the same way. Some are browser-based; some are app-based; and some depend on your device settings, permissions, or interactions.

3. How We Use These Technologies

We may use these technologies for the following purposes:

  • to keep you signed in or maintain your session;

  • to recognize your device or browser;

  • to remember preferences and settings;

  • to support account creation, login, verification, and security;

  • to provide core app and website functionality;

  • to measure engagement, usage, performance, and reliability;

  • to analyze how users interact with the Services;

  • to diagnose crashes, bugs, and technical issues;

  • to improve the design, speed, features, and overall operation of the Services;

  • to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, automation, or other harmful activity;

  • to support invites, referrals, onboarding, and growth-related features;

  • to send, measure, and improve communications, including push notifications and emails;

  • to understand campaign effectiveness and attribution; and

  • to support Daylyy's advertising, marketing, and promotional efforts.

4. Categories of Technologies We May Use

4.1 Strictly Necessary / Essential Technologies

These support essential operations such as authentication, security, account access, session management, fraud prevention, and network management. Without these, some parts of the Services may not function correctly. These cannot be disabled.

4.2 Functional Technologies

These help remember your settings and improve how the Services work for you, such as language settings, device preferences, saved choices, or feature-related preferences.

4.3 Analytics and Performance Technologies

These help us understand how users interact with the Services, which features are used, how often screens are viewed, whether errors occur, and how we can improve reliability and performance. We currently use:

4.4 Communications Technologies

These help us understand whether you open emails, interact with notifications, respond to messages, or engage with onboarding or support communications, where allowed by law.

4.5 Attribution and Marketing Technologies

These help us understand how users found Daylyy, measure campaign effectiveness, attribute installs or visits, or improve our marketing efforts. Depending on applicable law, some uses of these technologies may be treated as advertising, sharing, or targeted advertising.

5. Website Technologies

When you visit Daylyy's website or web-based tools, we and our service providers may use browser cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember choices and preferences, secure the website, understand site traffic and interactions, improve website performance and design, and measure communications and campaign performance. You may control website cookies through your browser settings, browser extensions, or any consent tools we make available.

6. App Technologies (SDKs and Mobile Identifiers)

When you use the Daylyy mobile application, we and our service providers primarily use SDKs, device identifiers, app instance identifiers, push tokens, local app storage, and APIs rather than browser cookies. These technologies:

  • enable core app functionality and authentication;

  • support app security and abuse prevention;

  • remember app settings and preferences;

  • measure app stability, crashes, errors, and performance;

  • understand feature usage and engagement;

  • support onboarding, invite systems, and referral features; and

  • measure app install or campaign attribution, where applicable.

Because mobile apps do not rely on browser cookies in the same way websites do, certain controls are managed through your device settings, app settings, mobile operating system permissions, or platform privacy settings rather than through browser controls.

7. Information These Technologies May Collect

Depending on the technology and how you use the Services, these tools may collect: IP address; browser type and settings; device type, model, and operating system; app version; language and time zone settings; session information; pages, screens, or features viewed; clicks, taps, and interactions; referral source or campaign information; timestamps and session duration; crash reports, diagnostics, and performance information; app instance IDs, push tokens, or device-related identifiers; and mobile advertising identifiers where available and permitted.

8. Third-Party Technologies

We may allow service providers and partners to use certain technologies in connection with the Services for purposes such as hosting, analytics, messaging, security, attribution, communications, diagnostics, marketing, or support. These third parties may collect information subject to their own privacy notices and contractual arrangements with us. We do not control every aspect of third-party technologies, but we require service providers to support our business in accordance with applicable agreements and law.

9. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on the technology, your device, and applicable law, you may have the following choices:

  • adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies;

  • use browser privacy settings or extensions;

  • adjust mobile device privacy settings ("Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android);

  • reset or limit mobile advertising identifiers;

  • manage push notification preferences in your device settings;

  • turn off certain permissions in your device settings; and

  • use any consent or preference tools we make available in the app or on the website.

If you disable or block certain technologies, some parts of the Services may not function properly, some settings may not be saved, and some features may be unavailable or less effective.

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond across all platforms and technologies. Where required by applicable law (including in certain U.S. states), we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal data. You can enable GPC through participating browsers or browser extensions.

11. State-Law Disclosures

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws to opt out of certain uses of cookies, SDKs, pixels, or similar technologies, including uses related to targeted advertising, sharing, or certain profiling activities. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about privacy rights and how to submit a request.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology practices, legal requirements, or operational needs. If we do, we will post the updated Policy and revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
